Each year, the GW Institute for Korean Studies selects two students for the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) M.A. Fellowships. The awardees receive full tuition (up to 18 credits) for one academic year. In addition, the Institute selects up to five students a year for the KDI School of Public Policy and Management (KDIS) M.A. Fellowships. KDIS Fellowship awardees receive partial tuition remission. The amounts vary per awardee but typically range from $5,000 to $10,000 per academic year. For consideration for either fellowship students must apply to an Elliott School graduate program for the fall semester before the deadline. Applicants must express a regional interest in Korea, both on the application for admission and in their statement of purpose.  Selected recipients will be notified in mid-March with the admissions decision.
