Next Generation Scholarship in Korean Studies

Drawing from a variety of academic disciplines and subject-matter specializations, the Next Generation Scholarship in Korean Studies Conference serves as an opportunity for undergraduate students across the United States to present their original research in Korean Studies. GWIKS selected 21 students to present their research papers at a two-day conference hosted at George Washington University. Students presented their work in six sessions divided into two general categories: humanities and social sciences. A panel of judges selected the top three winners in each category at the end of the conference.
