The North Korea Program is designed to provide professionals and graduate students in the United States with balanced and multi-dimensional information about North Korea. It will help participants to understand aspects of North Korea that are often lefts as a black box in policy discussions. This program is a six-week intensive hybrid course covering diverse topics including history, economics, domestic politics, culture, and the future of North Korea.

Enrollment Fee
As part of our commitment to maintaining the quality of our programs and services, a $200 enrollment fee will be applied for this year. This fee helps offset administrative and operational costs associated with enrollment, including materials, staffing, and program development.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to deliver a high-quality experience for all participants.
Participation
All participants must attend at least EIGHT (out of twelve) lectures and the participants’ roundtable to receive Acknowledgement of Participation.
Lecture Format & Eligibility
Lectures will follow a hybrid setting. Please take note of the indicated setting of each lecture on the brochure and follow in-person or virtual protocols as necessary. Admission is highly competitive. Only successful applicants with excellent academic/professional achievements and a demonstrated strong interest in North Korea will be selected to participate.

2. Decision announcement: Friday, September 12, 2025
3. Program dates: October 7 – November 18, 2025, 7-9 p.m. ET, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
